The greenhouses are a hub of activity in the Spring and then steadily worked throughout the growing season.

Each greenhouse has its own purpose: the Solarium is for starting seeds, particularly tricky ones who need extra care. Greenhouse One houses hardier transplants and is where they grow strong in larger containers. Greenhouse Two is an in-the-ground perennial herb house, with annuals like basil squeezed into the spaces.

Greenhouse Three is an in-the-ground greens house, and in the winter the chickens or piglets live there, cleaning the space up for Spring. Ann mixes her own dirt, incorporating the farm-produced fertilizers for optimum plant heath.

We sell vegetable, herb and flower transplants every year, and we offer our custom soil mixes and composts for sale as well.
